Sarah Ortiz

Sarah is the newest lead mixed pre-k teacher here at PEI. She is a recent Albuquerque transplant from Texas where she was raised by Nicaraguan immigrants giving her a strong Spanish background. After studying History, Classical Civilizations at the University of Texas at Austin, Sarah taught advanced pre-k at My Time Kids Academy in Austin, Texas for 3 years. Since moving to New Mexico, Sarah has begun her studies in Special Education at the University of New Mexico. Outside of school, Sarah’s favorite challenge is trying a new recipe!
